Active Ingredient:28g/litre Pyrethrum as an Oil in water emulsion Available in 1L & 5L ZETaPY™ is a fast acting broad spectrum insecticide that can be applied through the growing season to control sucking and chewing insect pests by contact action on fruit, vegetable or ornamentals crops. ZETaPY™ contains 28g/litre pyrethrins in the form of an oil in water emulsifiable concentrate ZETaPY™ is formulated and manufactured in New Zealand by Renovo Technologies. Benefits of using ZETaPY™ Rapid knockdown ZETaPY™ is compatible with additives such as NuFilm-17® and RainGard™. One day withholding period when used on some crops. Compatible with IPM due to its short persistence allowing most predators to survive. ZETaPY™ Controls chewing and sucking insects such as greenhouse thrips, NZ flower thrips, passion vine hoppers, aphids, earwigs, pear slug. How to Use Good coverage is essential for a high level of control as ZETaPY™ is a contact insecticide. Rapid breakdown of the product following application means there is little or no residue left, so crops can be treated for control of passion vine hopper, aphids or greenhouse thrips close to harvest. The one day withholding period (Kiwifruit 20 days) gives the grower greater flexibility in controlling crop infestations. ZETaPY™ will provide excellent control of target pests without compromising export withholding periods. Correct timing of product will result in less crop damage and a greater export pack out percentage. Directions for use Always read the label first ZETaPY™ is best applied just before dusk or early morning before sun is at full strength. Spraying should begin when insects first appear. DO not wait until plants are heavily infested. Repeat as required to maintain effective control. Use with caution on young plants and on new growth as crop damage may result. For general insect control using ZETaPY™ at 1.2 L/ha will provide excellent knockdown and kill of insects. Increase the rate up to a maximum of 2.5lt per ha under extremely high insect populations or when treating insects with hard exoskeletons (e.g. bronze/grass grub beetles) in their mature phases. For very high infestations of passion vine hopper on kiwifruit, use the higher rate of product/ 100l water – For best results apply at dusk/early evening when the Passion Vine Hopper is less mobile due to cooler temperatures. When used on apricots for the control of NZ Flower thrips, a high water rate is required to ensure product reaches into any cracks or crevices where thrips may be harbouring Maintain agitation or agitate frequently while spraying Use diluted spray mixtures within 24 hours Do not mix ZETaPy™ with lime sulphur, Bordeaux mixture or any other alkaline materials Do not apply in direct sunlight or when temperatures exceed 32°C Use with caution on young plants and on new growth as crop damage may result When first using ZETaPy™, always treat a few plants of each species to ensure crop safety before treating large areas Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and heat When stored appropriately, this product should show no significant degradation for two years from the date of manufacture
