PRODUCT INFORMATION
Vitalis® is a Systemic Fungicide for the control of a wide range of Diseases in Wheat, Barley, and Ryegrass Seed Crops and provides highly effective Curative and Protectant Activity against a number of key Diseases, including Septoria Leaf Blotch in Wheat and Net Blotch in Barley.
Active Ingredient:
250g/litre Prothioconazole in the form of an Emulsifiable Concentrate.
What It’s Used On:
Main Crops:
- Wheat.
- Barley.
- Ryegrass Seed Crops.
Controls Diseases like:
- Stripe Rust.
- Leaf Rust.
- Septoria.
- Speckled Leaf Blotch.
- Net Blotch & Scald.
- Ramularia.
- Crown & Stem Rust in Ryegrass.
Application Rates & Timing:
- Typical rate: 400–800 mL/ha.
Apply:
- At first sign of Disease.
- Repeat after 3–4 Weeks if needed.
- Max 3 applications per season.
- Minimum 21 Days between Sprays.
- Water Volume at least 200 L/ha, more for dense Crops.
Key Safety Warnings:
This is not a mild product—label highlights:
- Toxic on Skin Contact.
- Harmful if Swallowed.
- Causes Skin & Serious Eye Irritation.
- May cause organ damage with repeated exposure.
Environmental:
- Toxic to Aquatic Life (long-lasting effects).
- Must not enter Waterways.

Resistance Management: (important)
- Group 3 Fungicide → resistance can develop.
Limit:
- Max 3 DMI sprays per season (total).
- Rotate with other Fungicide Groups where possible.
