How It Works: (important).
- Protectant only → must be applied before infection.
Best Used:
- At early growth stages.
- When disease risk is forecast.
- Needs good coverage on Foliage.
- If disease is already established, it won’t clean it up.
Application Basics:
Cropping (Wheat/Barley).
- Rate: ~1.5 L/ha.
- Must be tank-mixed with another Fungicide (different mode of action).
- Max: 2 applications per season.
- Interval: 3–4 weeks.
Fruit Crops.
- Typical Rates 150–250 ml per 100 L water.
- Spray Intervals Every 7–14 days depending on disease pressure.
Key Restrictions:
- Do not apply after flag leaf (GS39) in Cereals.
- Do not use on Crops intended for Green Feed/Silage (Cereals).
Pre-harvest Intervals:
- Fruit: 3 days.
Safety & Hazards: (important).
- Suspected carcinogen (long-term exposure risk).
Causes:
- Eye irritation.
- Skin irritation/allergy.
- Very toxic to aquatic life.
PPE Required:
- Gloves, overalls, eye protection.
- Avoid inhaling spray mist.
- Keep away from waterways.
Resistance Management:
Low resistance risk (multi-site), but:
- Always mix with another Fungicide in Cereals.
- Rotate chemistry to protect effectiveness.
Bottom Line:
- Preventative Fungicide, not a knockdown.
- Best for disease programs, especially in Cereals and Fruit.
- Strong resistance-management partner.
- Needs timing + tank mix + coverage to work properly.
Caution:
Must be used strictly according to label directions.
Available in 20 Litre (2x10L).
