Ridomil Gold is used for the control of Early and Late Blight in Potatoes and Tomatoes, Dryberry in Canefruit, Downy Mildew in Grapes, Onions, Cucurbits and Brassica Seedbeds, Phytophthora Spear Rot in Asparagus, Phytophthora Crown Rot in Asparagus Transplants, and Phytophthora Root Rots in Tree Nurseries.
Active Ingredients:
40 g/kg Metalaxyl-M plus 640 g/kg Mancozeb in the form of a water dispersible granule.
This is a systemic + protectant mix — one of the classic “inside + outside” Fungicides.
How It Works: (Key Strength).
Metalaxyl-M (systemic): Rapid uptake (within ~30 min) it moves upward in plant sap and stops infection internally.
Mancozeb (contact): Forms protective barrier on leaf surface and stops spores germinating.
