Spraysmart Meso 480g/L 1L

SpraySmart Meso is a selective Lawn Herbicide for controlling a wide range of common Broadleaf Weeds in Turf, without harming cool‑season Grasses like Perennial Ryegrass and Tall Fescue. It works both before Weeds Sprout (pre‑emergent) and after they appear (post‑emergent), making it a versatile option for Home Lawns.
Active Ingredient:
Mesotrione 480 g/L in the form of a Suspension Concentrate.
Application Rates:
- Pre-emergent at Seeding 3.6–5.6 mL in 4–5 L water per 100 m².
- Post-emergent 3.6–5.6 mL per 100 m² in 4–5 L water.
Uses:
- Controls a range of Broadleaf Weeds in Turfgrass.
Can Be Used:
- Pre-emergent during establishment of ryegrass and tall fescue lawns.
- Post-emergent on Established Turf.
- Particularly useful during new Lawn Establishment where Weed Suppression is needed while Turf Establishes.
Application Notes:
For difficult Weeds where SpraySmart Meso is applied as a post-emergent treatment, a surfactant may improve performance.
Can be tank-mixed with SpraySmart Etho as a pre-emergent treatment in Ryegrass and Tall Fescue.
- For Post-Emergent use, separate applications of Meso and Etho are recommended, especially on Tall Fescue.
- Keep Children and Pets off treated areas until dry (approximately 24 hours).
Restrictions:
- Turf use only.
Do Not Apply:
- On or around Food Crops.
- On Animal Feed Crops.
- In areas Grazed by Livestock.
- Maximum application frequency: two applications per year.

Avoid Contamination Of:

- Wash Hands, Arms and Face thoroughly after handling.
First Aid:
- Eye Contact: Can cause serious irritation; flush immediately with water.
- Skin Contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
Storage:
- Store in the original tightly closed container.
- Keep in a cool, dry, locked area.
- Keep away from Foodstuffs, Seed and Fertilisers.
- Store according to NZS 8409 requirements for agrichemicals.
Spill Response:
- Prevent product entering Waterways or Drains.
- Absorb spills with inert material and dispose of appropriately.
Disposal:
- Triple-rinse empty containers.
- Add rinsate to the spray tank.
- Recycle containers through Agrecovery where available.
Transport:
- Do not carry more than 10 litres in passenger vehicles.
Record Keeping:
Records of use may be required under NZS 8409 when used within 24 hours of harvest or in certain situations.
