PRODUCT INFORMATION
Nufarm Image is a selective herbicide for broad-spectrum broadleaf weed control in cerials, ryegrass seedcrops and turf grasses.
Active Ingredients:
120g/l Bromoxynil and 120g/l Ioxynil as the octanoate esters and 360g/l Mecoprop-P as the ethylhexyl ester in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate.
Mode of Action:
Ioxynil and bromoxynil primarily act as contact herbicides, blocking photosynthesis, while mecoprop-P is absorbed through foliage and acts systemically to disrupt cell division and growth. It is a combination of Group 6 + Group 4 herbicides.

Maximum one application per year in Cereals, with a maximum single rate of 1.75 L/ha.
Ryegrass Seed Crops:
Rate: 1.0–1.75 L/ha.
Apply when weeds are small and actively growing, after ryegrass has 3 leaves but before jointing.
Nufarm Image is selective to most ryegrass cultivars; test a small area first if cultivar tolerance is uncertain.
Turf:
Rate: 1.5 L/ha (15 mL/100 m²).
- Apply when weeds are small and actively growing.
- Newly sown turf must have at least 3 leaves.
- Established turf may require a repeat application 6 weeks later for newly emerged weeds.
- Maximum 4 applications/year, with at least 35 days between applications.
Water Rates:
Ground: 200–400 L water/ha, minimum 200 kPa, medium droplets.
- Use higher water volumes where weeds are dense or the crop is beyond mid-tillering.
Aerial: minimum 150 L water/ha.
- Good, even coverage of weed foliage is important because the product works primarily through contact action.
Weather & Application Conditions:
- Best results when weeds are small and actively growing.
- Best application temperature is above 5°C.
- Do not treat in drought conditions or when temperatures exceed 25°C.
- Avoid application when large temperature variations are expected within 3 days.
- Best effectiveness when humidity is above 70% and light intensity is low.
- Light rain after foliage has dried should not adversely affect results. Important crop restrictions.
- Do not use on cereals undersown with lucerne or clover.
- Cereals undersown with grasses can be treated once the grasses have reached the 2–3 leaf stage and are growing vigorously.
- Hot, dry conditions, particularly in rapidly growing spring-sown crops, can cause temporary crop scorch.
- Nufarm Image is not recommended for cereals adjacent to susceptible crops or home gardens because mecoprop-P vapour drift can occur.
Safety & Environmental: (Hazards include)
- Harmful if swallowed or inhaled.
- Skin and serious eye irritation.
- May cause allergic skin reaction.
- Significant spray-drift hazard to desirable plants.
Personal Protection:
- Wear Eye Protection.
- Waterproof Gloves.
- Boots and Overalls.
The Mixer/Applicator must be a Qualified Contractor or Qualified Person; the spray mixture may also be prepared by a Qualified Loader.

Must be used strictly according to label directions.
