PRODUCT INFORMATION
Fiera® is a selective herbicide recommended for the control of grass weeds in Lucerne, Lettuce, and Clover Seed Crops, Cotula Lawns and Bowling Greens. Fiera® can also be used for the control of Barley Grass and other Annual Grasses in fence lines, headlands, pasture perimeters, stock camps, and waste areas.
Active Ingredient:
500g/litre propyzamide in the form of a suspension concentrate.
What It Controls.
Annual Grass Weeds, including:
- Barley Grass.
- Annual Poa (Poa annua), other Annual Grasses.
Where It’s Used.
- Lucerne (alfalfa).
- Clover Seed Crops.
- Lettuce.
- Turf.
- Cotula Lawns.
- Bowling Greens.
Non-crop Areas:
- Fence lines.
- Headlands.
- Stock Camps.
- Waste Areas.
Application Rates. (typical label guidance)
- Up to ~1.5 kg active/ha max (≈ 3 L/ha product) depending on situation.
Rates vary based on:
- Soil type.
- Weed pressure.
- Crop or non-crop situation.
Usually applied as a broadcast ground spray in water.
Timing & Performance.
Best applied Pre-emergence or early post-emergence of grass weeds, needs moist soil for activation, provides residual control up to ~6–8 weeks.
Key Safety & Hazard Points.
- Eye irritant & skin sensitiser.
- Suspected carcinogen (long-term exposure risk).
- Very toxic to aquatic life & soil organisms.
Critical:
