PRODUCT INFORMATION
SpraySmart Etho is a selective herbicide that can be used on Tall Fescue and Perennial Rye lawns as both a pre and post-emergent.
Safe for: * 100% Perennial Ryegrass * 100% Tall Fescue (may experience slight temporary yellowing or slowdown)
Do not use on: * Fine Fescue (will damage or kill the lawn)
For best results: * Apply only to healthy, actively growing turf. * Avoid applying close to a Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) treatment.
Application Rate 40 mL per 100 m² Mix with **4–5 L of water per 100 m²
Pre-emergent Use Use to prevent weed seeds from germinating.
Existing lawns
Spray at the standard rate. Immediately irrigate with 3–5 mm of water** to move the product into the soil.
At seeding Can be applied at the same time as sowing the grass seed.
Requirements: Apply before the grass seed germinates. Water in with 3–5 mm irrigation.
Does not inhibit rye or tall fescue seed germination. Helps prevent Annual Poa Summer Grass Other unwanted grass weeds
Can be tank mixed with SpraySmart Meso for stronger pre-emergent control.
Post-emergent Use Use to control young existing weeds. ### Existing lawns * Apply at **40 mL per 100 m²** in **4–5 L water.** * **Do not water in.** * Allow the spray to dry on the leaves. ### Newly seeded lawns Recommended waiting periods: * Tall Fescue: wait **4 weeks after germination** * Perennial Ryegrass: generally **4 weeks**, although some studies indicate applications may be possible from **2 weeks after germination** once seedlings are approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) tall.
Annual Poa Control Program
For the best control: 1. Apply **40 mL/100 m²**. 2. **Water in immediately** with **3–5 mm** (pre-emergent barrier). 3. Wait 14 days. 4. Apply the same rate again, but do not irrigate—allow it to dry on the foliage for post-emergent activity.
This two-step approach controls existing Annual Poa while helping prevent new germination.
