AGPRO FORESTRY Valzine 750 WDG is a Selective Herbicide for the Control of Grass and Broadleaf Weeds in Radiata Pine Forestry. DO NOT USE ON PASTURE OR CROPLAND.
Active Ingredients:
Contains 637.5g/kg Terbuthylazine plus 112.5g/kg Hexazinone in the form of a Water Dispersible Granule.

Main Hazards:
- Human Health.
- Harmful if Swallowed. - Causes serious Eye Irritation.
- May cause organ damage through repeated exposure.
Environmental:
- Very toxic to Aquatic Life.
- Very toxic to Soil Organisms.
- Harmful to Terrestrial Vertebrates.
- Can injure neighbouring Crops and Native Vegetation through spray drift.
- May leach into Groundwater on Permeable Soils.
PPE Requirements:
When Mixing or Applying Wear:
- Overalls.
- Gloves.
- Boots.
- Eye Protection.
- Respiratory Protection.
Avoid:
- Skin Contact.
- Eye Contact.
- Inhalation of Dust or Spray Mist.
Qualified Handler:
A suitably qualified handler is required during:
- Handling.
- Mixing.
- Loading.
- Application.
Spray Drift Requirements:
- Take all reasonable steps to minimise off-target movement.
Recommendations Include:
- Do not spray when wind is below 3 km/h.
- Do not spray when wind exceeds 20 km/h.
- Assess Weather, Terrain, Application Equipment and sensitive Vegetation.
- Pay particular attention where susceptible Vegetation is within 500 metres.
Mixing:
- Shake or stir product before use if settled.
- Add to a partly filled Spray Tank.
- Maintain continuous agitation during Mixing and Spraying.
- Agitate again if spray mixture has stood overnight.
Maximum Application Rate:
- 16.2 kg/ha maximum per Application.
- Maximum 2 applications per calendar year.
- Minimum interval of 6 months between Applications.
Forestry Application Rates:
- Application: Aerial.
- Rate: 10.67–13.33 kg/ha.
- Comments: Apply before Spring growth. Higher rate gives longer residual control.
Spot Treatment: 1.07–1.33 g/m² Apply with 15–20 ml water per m².
- For Paspalum, Kikuyu and other Perennial Grasses, add an approved Selective Grass Herbicide.
Industrial Areas:
- Application: Handgun.
- Rate: 1.33 kg per 100 L water.
- Apply to achieve approximately 1000 L spray mix per Hectare.
- Best applied during spring and autumn before Major Weed Growth.
Equipment:
- Use only calibrated, well-maintained Equipment.
- Do not use Strainers finer than 300 microns.
- Flush Equipment thoroughly with clean Water after use.
Storage:
- Store in original sealed container.
- Cool, dry, well-ventilated location.
- Protect from direct sunlight.
- Store between -5°C and 35°C.
- Keep away from Food, Seed and Fertiliser.
Stores holding 100 kg or more require:
- Signage.
- Emergency response plan.
- Record Keeping.
Written records are required if:
- 3 kg or more is applied within 24 hours where it could move beyond the application area.
- Records must be retained for 3 years.
Disposal of Product:
- Use according to the label whenever possible.
- Otherwise seek supplier advice.
Packaging:
- Dispose at an approved Landfill.
- Do not burn.
- Do not reuse Packaging.
First Aid:
If Swallowed:
- Do not induce vomiting.
- Rinse mouth.
- Contact the National Poisons Centre (0800 764 766) or a doctor.
If In Eyes:
- Rinse continuously with Water.
- Remove Contact Lenses if possible.
- Seek Medical attention if irritation persists.
If On Skin:
- Remove contaminated Clothing.
- Wash thoroughly with water.
- Seek Medical advice if irritation develops.
If inhaled:
- Move to fresh air.
- Apply artificial respiration if necessary.
- Contact a doctor or Poisons Centre if unwell.
Environmental Precautions:
- Do not apply directly to water.
- Prevent contamination of Waterways.
- Avoid application where Groundwater Contamination is possible.
- Prevent spray drift onto Crops, Native Vegetation and other Sensitive Plants.
Caution:
Must be used strictly according to label directions.
