Active Ingredient: 200g/litre Fipronil in the form of a Suspension Concentrate.
Uses & Rates:
Vegetable Brassicas (Diamondback Moth, White Butterfly):
- 120 mL/ha in ~500 L water; spray to run‑off.
- Repeat 7–10 days as needed.
- Max 4 applications/season.
Citrus (Kelly’s Citrus Thrip):
- 10 mL/100 L, high‑volume to run‑off; apply end of flowering and repeat every 14 days for 6–8 weeks.
- Max 4 applications/season.
- Do not apply to flowering trees visited by bees.
Onions (Thrips):
150–200 mL/ha in ~500 L water with suitable surfactant; repeat 7–10 days as cluster of 3–4 sequential sprays.
- Max 4 applications/season.
Mushrooms (Mushroom Flies):
- 16 mL per 300 L peat moss bale; incorporate thoroughly into casing mix.
- Begin treatments in response to scouting thresholds.
- Alternate modes of action to manage resistance.
Withholding Periods: (WHP)
- Vegetable Brassicas: 7 days
- Citrus: 42 days (observe carefully for multi‑flowering crops).
- Onions: 3 days.
- Mushrooms: 14 days.
Application & Mixing:
- Shake well.
- Add RECOIL to half‑filled tank, top up, mix thoroughly.
- Non‑ionic wetter recommended in Vegetable Brassicas.
- Apply even coverage to point of run‑off.
- Compatible with many Fungicides/Insecticides/Surfactants/Fertilizers; seek advice if unsure.
- Ground application only (do not carry on passenger service vehicles).
Resistance Management:
- Group 2 — avoid exclusive use; limit to max 4 applications/season; rotate with Insecticides of different modes of action and follow published resistance strategy.
Hazards, PPE & Precautions:
- Harmful if Swallowed, Inhaled or in Contact with Skin.
- Causes Serious Eye Irritation.
- Causes organ damage with single, prolonged or repeated exposure.
- Very toxic to aquatic life (long‑lasting), Terrestrial Invertebrates and Vertebrates.
- Do not apply directly into/onto water. Avoid spray drift.
- Do not spray flowering Plants visited by Bees; avoid application until spray dried.
- Keep out of reach of Children. Do not Eat/Drink/Smoke while using.
- Use only outdoors or in well‑ventilated area.
- Wear Impervious Gloves, Waterproof Hat, Coat and Trousers (Protective Clothing).
- Wash hands/face after use. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Environmental & Spill:
- Very toxic to aquatic life — prevent contamination of water.
- Use drift‑minimising strategies near aquatic environments.
- For spills: wear PPE, absorb with inert material, collect in waste containers, wash area and absorb washings; dispose per local regulations.
First Aid:
- IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth; call Poison Centre/doctor if unwell.
- IF ON SKIN: wash with soap & water; launder clothing before reuse.
- IF INHALED: move to fresh air, rest.
- IF IN EYES: rinse thoroughly; remove contact lenses if present.
- If exposed, call Poison Centre/doctor.
Storage & Disposal:
- Store locked in original unopened container in cool dry place away from stockfeed/foodstuffs.
- Triple rinse container and return to AgRecovery or dispose per local authority.
Legal:
- It is an offence to use on Animals.
- Do not cause residues exceeding MRLs.
- Read full label before use.
