Ken-Met 600 WG (Metsulfuron), for the control of Gorse, Blackberry, Broom and other Scrub and Broadleaf Weeds in Pasture, Forestry and Non-Cropland areas.
Active Ingredient: 600 g/kg Metsulfuron-Methyl
in the form of a water dispersible granule.
What It’s Used For
Ken‑Met 600 WG is used to control a range of broadleaf weeds and scrub in areas such as:
- Pastures.
- Forestry.
- Non‑cropland or uncultivated land.
Common weeds controlled include:
- Gorse.
- Blackberry.
- Broom.
- Docks, and Thistles, though effectiveness varies with species and growth stage.
Hazards and Safety.
From the label:
- Causes serious eye irritation.
- Very toxic to aquatic life with long‑lasting effects.
- Toxic to soil organisms and can affect desirable plants if not applied carefully.
Safety Instructions (key points):
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Wear protective clothing (gloves, eye protection, overalls).
- Avoid contamination of waterways and desirable plants.
- Do not apply directly into or onto water.
- Wash equipment thoroughly after use to prevent harm to sensitive crops.
