PRODUCT INFORMATION
Ethosin 500 Ethosin® 500SC is active pre-emergence
through absorption by the emerging shoots
of grass weeds and by the roots of broadleaf
weeds soon after germination. Lack of soil
moisture and the presence of raw organic
matter will reduce or prevent pre-emergence
activity. Ethosin 500SC is selective to fodder
beet and red beet (beetroot) pre and post
emergence. Post emergence treatment
may cause some distortion to crop foliage
particularly early in the season, however this
does not adversely affect yield.
Active ingredient:
Ethofumesate 500 g/L in the form of a Suspension Concentrate.
- Use only clean water above 5°C.
Mixing Instructions:
1 - Partly fill spray tank with clean water.
2 - Start agitation.
3 - Add the required amount of Ethothisn.
4 - Finish filling the tank.
5 - Maintain agitation while Spraying.
Safety:
- Hazard Classification: 9.1B, 9.2A.
- Very toxic to aquatic organisms with long-lasting effects.
- Very toxic in the soil environment.
- Prevent contamination of Waterways, Drains, Streams, and Ponds.
Personal Protection:(Wear)
- Gloves.
- Protective Clothing/Overalls.
- Boots.
- Eye Protection.
- Do not Eat, Drink, or Smoke while handling the product.
First Aid:
- Swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Contact a doctor or the NZ Poison Centre (0800 764 766).
- Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing and wash thoroughly.
- Eye Contact: Flush immediately with water.
- Inhalation: Move to fresh air.
Storage & Disposal:
- Store in the original sealed container in a cool, dry place.
- Keep away from foodstuffs.
- Triple-rinse empty containers and add rinsings to the spray tank.
- Recycle containers through Agrecovery where available.
