Ken-Tac 100EC 5L (Insecticide)

Ken-tac 100 is used for the control of a range of Caterpillar Pests in Vegetable Brassicas, Maize and Sweetcorn and Tomatoes, Thrips and Aphids in Onions and Tomatoes, Grass Grub Beetle on non-bearing Fruit Trees and non-flowering newly planted Shelter Belts.
Active ingredient:
100g/litre alpha-cypermethrin in the form of an Emulsifiable Concentrate..

- Onions (Thrips, Aphids).
- Shelter Belts / non-bearing Trees.

- Caterpillars (Heliothis etc).

- General Chewing Insects.
Chemical Rates:
Maize / Sweetcorn.
- 100 – 200 mL/ha.
Timing, At first pest detection, early larval stages.
Brassicas / Tomatoes.
- 100 – 200 mL/ha.
Use:
- Lower rate → light pressure.
- Higher rate → heavy infestations.
Onions (Thrips, Aphids).
- 100 mL/ha typical, repeat as needed based on pressure.
Shelter Belts / Trees, similar rate range.
- 100–200 mL/ha equivalent.
Water Rates:
~100 – 300 L/ha (boom spray).
- Higher volume = better coverage.
