Modula Growth Inhibitor 10L (Herbicide)

Modula® is a growth regulator to improve the resistance of Barley, Ryecorn and Triticale to lodging.
Active Ingredient:
305g/litre Mepiquat Chloride + 155g/litre Chlorethephon in the form of a soluble concentrate
What It Does
- Shortens and thickens stems (internodes).
- Improves crop standing ability (reduces lodging).
- Helps reduce yield losses and makes harvesting easier.
Target Crops
- Barley.
- Ryecorn.
- Triticale.
Application Guidance
Apply to actively growing, healthy crops only best timing during stem elongation stages.
- Early → better lodging protection.
- Later → reduces straw/neck break.
Key Use Restrictions (Do NOT apply if).
- Crop is stressed (drought, frost, nutrient deficiency, waterlogging, damage).
- Rain or frost is expected.
- Crop is wet.
- Temperature exceeds 21 °C.
- Soil fertility or moisture is low (unless corrected).
Mixing & Compatibility
Compatible with many fungicides & insecticides.
- Do NOT mix with herbicides.
- Add to tank last with agitation running.
Hazards & Safety
- Classified as toxic, corrosive, and ecotoxic, risks include.
- Harmful if swallowed.
- Skin/eye damage.
- Toxic to aquatic life.
First aid (key points):
- If swallowed → rinse mouth, do NOT induce vomiting.
- Skin contact → wash immediately, remove contaminated clothing.
- Seek medical advice if unwell.
