Kikuyu Grass Seed - Per KG
SEAKIK
Kikuyu grass is a vigorous tropical perennial species originally native to the highland regions of East Africa, where it is closely associated with the Kikuyu people. It is widely used for its strong growth habit, dense ground coverage, and ability to persist in warm, high-growth conditions.
This species is well suited to creating durable, high-cover pastures and ground cover in suitable climates, particularly where rapid establishment and resilience are required.
Sowing Rate
Recommended sowing rate is approximately 500–800 g per 100 square metre, depending on site conditions and desired establishment density. The best sowing time is Late October to Mid March.
