Fludio Fungicide 1L (Controls Rhizopus Rot)

Fludio is now registered for use as a post-harvest treatment for Rhizopus rot in Kumara.
Active Ingredient:
Fludio (100g/L fludioxonil SC).
What It’s Used For:
- Kumara (post-harvest).
- Potatoes (seed treatment).
Controls:
- Rhizoctonia (Black Scurf & Stem Canker).
- Silver Scurf.

Application Rates Potatoes. (seed tubers)
- 250 mL per tonne of seed.
- Mixed in up to 2.75 L water per tonne.
Key Tips:
- Ensure full coverage of tubers.
- Avoid too much water → can cause soft rot.
- Treat just before planting (don’t leave sitting long).
- Kumara (post-harvest dip) 600 mL per 100 L water.
Method:
- Dip tubers ~30 seconds Let drain.
- Replace solution after 30–50 tonnes.
Safety & Handling:
- Toxic to aquatic life – avoid waterways.
- May cause organ damage with prolonged exposure.
- Do not inhale spray or fumes.
- Wear PPE and wash after use.
Important Restrictions:
- Treated seed must NOT be eaten or fed to animals.
- Do not apply directly to water.
- Must follow NZ agrichemical handling standards.
Withholding Period:
- Not required when used as directed.
Resistance Management:
- Group 12 fungicide → rotate with other modes of action to avoid resistance.
Caution:
Must be used strictly according to label directions.
