PRODUCT INFORMATION
Goldazim MBC is a Protectant and a Systemic Fungacide for the control of a range of diseases in Apples, Stonefruit, Wheat, Barley, Onions, Tomatoes, Beans, Lettuce and the causal organism of Facial Eczema.
Active Ingredient:
500g/litre Carbendazim SC.
Controls a Range Of Fungal Diseases In Crops:
- Stonefruit.
- Wheat.
- Barley.
- Onions.
- Tomatoes.
- Beans.
- Lettuce.
- Pasture controls Pithomyces Chartarum (Facial Eczema).
Key Diseases:
- Brown Rot.
- Peach Scab.
- Botrytis.
- Sclerotinia.
- Eyespot.
- Barley Scald.
- Facial Eczema organism in pasture.
Application Rates:(Typical Label Ranges)
Horticulture Crops:
- Stonefruit 25–50 mL / 100 L.
- Tomatoes, Beans, Lettuce 2 L/ha.
- Cereals, Wheat & Barley (Eyespot/Scald) 300–500 mL/ha.
- Onions Botrytis 500 mL/ha.
- Pasture (facial eczema) 300 mL/ha in 100–200 L water.
- Protection lasts up to ~6 weeks.
Timing & Use Notes:
- Apply as a high-volume spray to runoff.
- Use early season or at first disease signs.
- Often limited to 2 applications per season (varies by crop).
- Rotate with other Fungicide Groups (resistance risk).
Withholding Periods: (important)
- Beans 14 days.
- Tomatoes 3 days.
- Lettuce 21 days.
- Cereals 60 days.
- Onions 14 days.
Safety & Hazard:
DANGER May Cause:.
- Genetic defects.
- Fertility/unborn child damage.
- Organ damage with repeated exposure.
- Very toxic to aquatic life.
- Toxic to soil organisms.
- Avoid spray drift and water contamination.
PPE Required.
- Overalls, gloves, eye/face protection.
- Avoid inhalation and skin contact.
Other Key Points:
- Do not mix with strongly alkaline products (e.g. Lime Sulphur, Bordeaux).
- Compatible with most other agrichemicals.
- Use spreader-sticker for better coverage.
- Rainfast once absorbed into plant.
Resistance Warning:
- High resistance risk (Group 1 fungicide).
- Must Rotate with other modes of action.
- Avoid repeated consecutive use.
Caution:
Must be used strictly according to label directions.
