Protiva is a Fungicide for the control of Foliar Diseases in Wheat and Barley, Stem and Crown Rusts in Ryegrass Seed Crops, Blackspot and Powdery Mildew in Apples, Black Spot in Pears, Powdery Mildew in Winter Squash and Pumpkins, Sclerotinia in Kiwifruit, Brown Rot in Stonefruit (except Cherries), Scab in Citrus and Powdery Mildew in Grapes.
Active Ingredient: 500g/litre Trifloxystrobin SC.
What It Controls:
- Protiva targets a wide range of Plant Diseases across Crops.
Directions: use 25ml/100L.
- Cereals (Wheat & Barley).
- Rusts (Leaf, Stripe).
- Powdery Mildew.
- Leaf Blotches.
Ryegrass Seed Crops:
- Stem Rust.

Application Rates: (simplified)
Field Crops (wheat, barley, ryegrass):
- 250 ml per hectare.

- 125 ml/ha.
- Max 2 applications, 14 days apart.
Grapes:
- 125 ml/ha.
- Spray every 14 days.
- Max 3 Group 11 sprays per season.
Citrus:
- 10 ml per 100 L water.
- 2 sprays, At flowering / fruit set, Then ~1 month later.
Withholding Period: (very important).
Minimum time before harvest:
- Grain. 49 days - Forage Cereals. 28 days - Ryegrass Seed. 35 days - Pumpkins/Squash. 14 days - Grapes. 56 days - Citrus. up to 120 days (Mandarins) Key restrictions & warnings:
- Do NOT use on animals.
- Do not exceed residue limits (legal requirement).
- Very toxic to aquatic life.
- Avoid spraying into waterways.
Can cause:
- Skin irritation/allergic reactions.
- Long-term organ effects with repeated exposure.
Resistance Warning: (Important).
- Group 11 Fungicides develop resistance quickly.
