Scorp EC, Haloxyfop 1L (Herbicide)

Scorp EC is a selective herbicide used to control a wide range of Grasses in White Clover, Forestry, Orchards and Field Crops. Using SpraySmart Result Spray Oil will improve coverage and rain fastness, especially where lower water rates are used.
Active ingredient:
96.8g/L Haloxyfop-P present as the methyl ester in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate.
What It Controls:
- Selective Grass Herbicide (won’t control Broadleaf Weeds or Sedges).
Controls a wide range of:
- Annual Grasses (e.g. Ryegrass, Wild Oats, Summer Grass).
- Perennial Grasses (e.g. Couch, Kikuyu, Cocksfoot).
Main Use Situations.
- White Clover.
- Forestry (Radiata Pine, Eucalyptus).
- Orchards (Pipfruit, Citrus).
- Nurseries.
- Non-crop areas.
- Some Broadleaf Crops (Peas, Lentils, Onions, Asparagus).
Key Application Info:
Water Rates:.
- Boom: ≥200 L/ha.
- Aerial: 100–300 L/ha.
- High volume: up to 1000–1500 L/ha.
Mixing:.
- Add to partly filled tank, agitate.
- Add Spraysmart Result Spray Oil (except in some Crops like Peas/Lentils).
Rainfast ~1 hour after spraying.
Typical Use Rates: (Broadcast)
- Annual Grasses: ~0.5 – 0.6 L/ha.
- Perennial Grasses: ~1.25 – 5.0 L/ha.
Higher rates needed for:
- Mature Grasses.
- Stressed or slow-growing weeds.
Withholding & Plant-back:
Don’t plant Cereals, Maize, or Grasses for 12 weeks after spraying.
Crop-specific restrictions:
- Onions 5 weeks before harvest.
- Peas/Lentils not after flowering.
- Asparagus not during cutting.
Resistance Management:
- Group 1 Herbicide → resistance risk with repeated use.
- Rotate with other Herbicide Groups.
Safety & Hazards:
- Combustible liquid.
- Eye irritant.
- May damage organs with long-term exposure.
- Toxic to aquatic life.

- Avoid spray drift (damages desirable Grasses/Crops).
- Do not apply near water.
