Super Sprout Stop 10L

Super Sprout Stop is a growth regulator for the prevention of sprouting of Onions and Potatoes.
Active Ingredient:
270 g/L Maleic Hydrazide (Potassium Salt) as a Soluble Concentrate.
Product Type:
- Sprout Inhibitor / Growth Regulator used to prevent sprouting in:
- Onions.
- Potatoes.
Directions for Use:
General Application:
- Ground or aerial application.
- Mix with water using agitation.
- Do not spray if rain is expected within 24 hours.
Onions:
- Rate: 8–9 L/ha.
- Water Volume: 450–900 L water/ha.
- Timing Apply When: Bulbs are fully mature. 5–8 green leaves remain.
- At least 50% of tops are still green. Usually 10–14 days before Harvest.
- Additive: Add a non-ionic surfactant at the low label rate.
- Important: Do not apply more than 2 weeks before maturity.
- Early application may cause: Spongy Bulbs and Deformed Onions.
Potatoes:
- Rate: 12–14 L/ha.
- Water Volume: 450–900 L water/ha.
- Timing Apply when: Most Tubers are 3.5–5.0 cm diameter. Usually about 1 week after flowering ends. Lower leaves begin to yellow.
- Additive: Add a non-ionic surfactant at the low label rate.
- Important: Do not apply earlier than recommended.
- Early application can reduce yield: Do not use on Seed Potatoes.
Potato Quality Warning :– "Elephant Hide".
- The label warns that Super Sprout Stop may contribute to:
- Elephant Hide Bud-end Cracking particularly when combined with factors such as.
- High Temperatures.
- Excess Soil Moisture after Drought.
- High organic matter Soils.
- Fertilizer Salts.
- Susceptible Varieties.
- Uneven Application.
- Excessive Rates.
- Do not use if the risk of Elephant Hide is considered high.

Storage:
- Store in original tightly closed container.
- Keep locked away in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
- Store away from Food and Feed.
- Product remains stable for approximately 2 years when stored correctly.

Product:
- Use according to label directions or transfer to another approved operator.
Containers:
- Triple rinse.
- Add rinsate to spray tank.
- Recycle through Agrecovery where available.
- Otherwise dispose of in an approved landfill.
Critical Requirements:
✓ Add a non-ionic surfactant.
✓ Ensure no rain within 24 hours.
✓ Apply only to actively Growing Foliage.
✓ Do not use on Seed Potatoes.
✓ Avoid conditions that may promote Elephant Hide in Potatoes.
✓ Follow MRL requirements for Harvested Produce.
