Alliacine IPC 40EC is a herbicide used for the pre and post emergence control weeds in leeks. lucerne, parsnips, onions, lettuce, carrots, daffodils and tulips.
Active ingredient:
chlorpropham (400 g/L).
Weeds Controlled:
Controls a wide range of seedling weeds, including.
- Black nightshade.
- Chickweed.
- Fathen.
- Docks.
- Annual poa.
- Ryegrass.
- Paspalum.
- Spurrey.
- Willow weed.
Note: Only works best on young, emerging weeds..
Main crops:
- Onions (post-emergence).
- Lettuce (pre & post).
- Carrots, leeks, parsnips (pre-emergence).
Water rate:
- 200–400 L/ha.
Example Rates/Ha:
- Carrots/leeks/parsnips: 6–8 L/ha (pre-emergence).
- Lettuce: 3–11 L/ha depending on timing.
- Onions: 1–2 L/ha post-emergence (flag stage).
