Cytec 900WG
is a contact and residual herbicide for the control of certain broadleaf weeds in lentils, lucerne, maize and sweetcorn, peas and onions.
Active ingredient:
900 g/kg cyanazine. Water-dispersible granule (WG).
Crops & Use:
Registered for control of broadleaf weeds in:
- Lentils.
- Lucerne.
- Maize & sweetcorn.
- Peas.
- Onions.
Best suited as a pre- or early post-emergence herbicide with short-term residual control.
Targets a wide range of broadleaf weeds, it has limited/no control of grasses (typical for triazines), often used in programmes or mixes to broaden control.
Residual activity provides soil residual control for a few weeks, helps suppress later germinating weeds.

Works best on small, actively growing weeds, needs moisture for activation (soil-applied benefit).
Resistance risk → rotate with other modes of action.
